Default ITB Specialist/Tuner in So Cal? (A sports ITB's giving me a Headache)

Well, I finally got my A sports ITB's on and *** tuned them the best I could. Car ran fine, except for partial throttle - it ran like doo doo.

Anyhow, I took the car over to Mike @ Autowave in Hunington Beach.

After two days of tuning with the AEM EMS, my car ran a WHOLE lot better under partial throttle and as WOT.

The problem Im having is, when the car is cold..it will not idle for SH*T. Upon research and talking with Mike @ Autowave.

I found out he had removed my Factory IACV and somehow made my A sport Vacuom canister non functional anymore. I assume through the AEM EMS?

Now I have to "Manually" throttle/warm up my car ...til its at it full operating temp. to get it to idle by itself.

I know and have talked to others who have A Sports ITB's (out of state) and they cannot relate to this problem one bit.

Ive been dealing with it for about 3 weeks, and have been trying to do this and do that..but have had no luck. And give up

Do any of you guys, know of any tuners/ITB specialists that could help with my problems?

At this point, I really just wanna hand over the ITR to someone who entirely knows exactly what to do.

Im not doubting Mike @ Autowave as a good tuner, however from his own words..He has rarely dealt with ITB's.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated

.....get the vacuum canister connected to the iacv and enable it in the aem ems.

You will need an adaptor plate like this:

Then have him retune/ fix for cold idle fuel enrichment.

I ran without an IACV for a while on my last setup. I manually adjusted the butterflies open just a hair and set the TPS reading for idle a little bit lower. This way the ECU is always reading a little bit of throttle and never really "idles." It did cause the actual idle to rise to about 1000 rpms up from the 750 I did have it idling at, and I lost about 2 mpg when dealing with stop-and-go traffic, but it was smooth.

I know huh? As crazy as it may sound, there are no excuses from some of the bad transactions Ive done in the past. At this point, Im sure..I can never get the respect or trust back from any of these people.

At the same time, I do however..want to repay these people and apologize for everything.

Just dont know where to post this, or contact eveyone through pm.
