maxs hp with stock b16 turbo
A lot of it lies in the tuning. With a good tune, you can have a good amount of reliable horsepower. I'm currently at 390+whp at 15psi, while I don't suggest this for everyone, I haven't had any engine issues yet with around 50 passes at the track. Motor just needs to hold up for one more weekend, then it's on to bigger and better things.

that is very true. if the a/f is really rich around 11:1 to 11:5 it should be able to run very well and not turn lean.

mm that's like 35% of the tune. It's all in ignition. That's where the real power and tough part comes in. AF's just keeps things cool and provide enough fuel.

Here's a recent post with stock internals https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1384961 . 340whp, Although I don't recommend it since stock pistons will not hold. Whether or not you have a great tune on it, it's only a matter of time before the ring lands go.
