Default b16a2 into 1997 civic cx.

Ok, just wondering what would be the best way to run the p2t ecu, i have a cx engine harness, si engine harness, and ex engine harness, what is the best way?

is it possible to mod the CX engine harness to work?

i also read somewhere on here, i could just use the EX engine harness, and just wire up the knock sensor, and vtec... but i also read somewhere eles the plugs wont match up for the p2t ecu.

need help quick, gotta get my car bar'd

just use your cx harness... get a gsr ecu obd2 p72... and wire or have someone wire up vtec/ knock / IACV , and sell those extra harnesses

For my JDM B16, we just used my ex harness and wired the parts you already listed, and I used the P30 ecu.

Just wondering why you would use a GSR ecu instead of the one that is supposed to go with the motor. If you use the GSR ecu, the fuel map will be different and and that ecu will look for secondaries, while the B16 does not have these.

for my dx I ran it on my b16a2 no problems... I didnt notice it running rich/lean the secondaries are in the intake manifold... you think secondaries really matter whens a person swaps out there GSR Intake manifold for a skunk2 intake manifold... what will the ecu look for then

Do you have an a/f gauge? The fuel map is quite a bit different on a P72 than on a P2T or a P30. You don't notice a "huge" difference when switching ecu's besides when vtec kicks in, but I definitely like the way the P30 feels in my car.

So, the Skunk2 IM completely gets rid of the secondaries on the GSR? I am pretty sure that it doesn't. The ITR and Civic Si IM's are really similar, but I would be pretty surprised if the Skunk2 IM got rid of the secondaries on the GSR one.
