I know the EGs have an optional audio console, however. I have this cassette player in my 97 DX & I don't use it. Anyone else remove this thing & do something worthwhile with the space left over?

 

You could take it out and put a CF plate over it. Look around for ideas too.

 

i didnt have a tape deck but i did have the little plastic tray in mine, i removed it and put my cd player in its place it looks nice. with the top hole i made a plate and mounted my turbo timer in it. if you take it out ill give you my tray to put in its place for free, i dont need it.
