replace a GSR front strut tower bar? (searched)

I've seen a few people with GSRs change out the factory strut bar with something else...

is this just for looks? or is there really a difference in how they perform?

I think alot of strut bars can be adjusted to increase or decrease the chassis stiffness, but I don't know how much it matters.

It's one of those things that you really need controlled circumstances to feel the difference in. Most of the time it's just for looks, better handling upgrades need to be found elsewhere first.

that strut bar is fine unless u are going for looks. no need to replace it for performance

I'm considering replacing mine, since it doesn't fit with the GC top hats. Then again, I couldn't tell the difference on or off...
