Default gsr strut bar vs. aftermarket strut bar

what is better the oem gsr strut bar or an aftermarket strut bar or is tehre no difference

aftermarket will not be any different than stock unless it bolts to your firewall as well as your strut towers. therefor a password strut bar for example

well i noticed the gsr bar doesnt brace on on the around the top of the strut tower but all the after market ones do...no difference?

as long as it doesnt bend if u try and bend it urself, then its good :]

I think the only two strut bars that make the most difference over stock is probably:

carbing/password jdm/JHPUSA:

and the Neuspeed




I'm sure there are a couple other ones but they all typically do the same.

passwordjdm 3 point front strut, mugen 3 point strut. chances are a ITR strut will be good enoguh to DD.

The OG Mugen fronts were 3 piece, but still not 3 point.
Do you mean Carbing?
The only 3 point bars are from Password, Carbing and Rigid.

I had a gs-r bar on my DB7 then replaced it with the neuspeed(like above). Huge diffrence. But I also have a trunk brace, and lower tie bar.

that nuespeed works wonders! i felt a good difference with it. Time to try out the passwordjdm one or carbing if i can find one

I have the passwordJDM 3-point and it is a good quility product

I would rather have the stock GSR strut bar than an ITR, reason being is that my friend has an oem itr and it is flimsy as hell, you can grab the middle and push up and down and watch it flex quite a bit
