i was just wondering because i installed mine today. i hooked it up to the vacuum line on the fmu, are they supposed to be loud are not. i can not really hear mine at all. it kinda sounds like a girl sneezing. and i can hear the wastegate over it as well. and im only running 4 pounds. is there a way to adjust the wastegate to run higher boost?

You should have the top port open to air and the bottom going to vacuum.
What kind of WG do you have? No way to adjust boost unless you change the spring or go with a controller.

 

well my gage reads 4 pounds at full throttle. its a d16 y8 with the greddy 16g kit and, fmu, 240 injectors, and a front mount. is there a reason its at 4 pounds, my vacuum is reading at 20 at idle. does this sound normal

 

Greddy kits don't have external wastegates (hence, no top port). I think you have wastegate and blowoff valve confused. Sort that out and get back to us.

 

i have a internal wastegate. those words never came out my mouth.someone just told asked me what my wastegate was set at thats why i asked if i can control boost through my wastegate.
