Horn Fuse blowing!
Hi guys,
The other day my horn stopped working....upon inspection, i found that the fuse is blown.....replaced it, and right away it blew again.
I'm hoping you guys can suggest a good method to tracking down the problem....
Thanks

well, there is apparently a short somewhere in the horn circuit. Check all the wiring leading from the horn. There really isnt a quick way of diagnosing electrical problems. You just have to be thorough.
Work on anything recently on the car?
You may have disturbed something (pinched a wire, etc
If it were a relay, or a switch problem you would have an open circuit (and would not blow a fuse).
It's more than likely a pinched wire or a bad horn (short circuit)

Does the fuse blow when you press the horn button? Does it blow when you press the brake pedal?

It blows as soon as u put it in the fusebox.

u have to go through the eliminating process to locate short...first off do u have a circuit breaker to install in place of the fuse?? this way u dont have to replace a bunch of fuses.....disconnect the wiring from the horns, take a look for any ind of damage to the wires, this way u re eliminating any internal horn short,,,, if fuse stops blowing u got a bad horn..if it still blows disconnect the brake switch ,if it still blows u got power wire direct short to ground...try those and post results,,, do the horns first i have seen a few short out internally

I just picked up the car a few weeks ago and the only thing that i have done was install a cd player (didnt cut wires....connected to factory harness).
I guess when the rain stops, ill begin looking for pinched wires
Will also inspect the horn.
