SRS light with after market wheel
i tried a search, and there were many other things that popped up.. but not exactly what i was looking for
when i change my steeringwheel,does anyone know what i need to do to get that srs light to turn off? ! with out pulling the bulb out ?

i almost got the same problem wiht my civic 95 but the thing is the car was into a little collision i rebuilt it back up and since the old air bags popped out i replace both of them with new air bags and computer as well but the srs light still comes out and stays out....i dont if i need to reset the ECU bc the ECU still have the air bags as if the they were popped out still.....

all it has to do is be cleared, theres a diy in the faqs section. i had mine cleared today @ the honda dealership, however my friend is a mechanic there so that is why i went there bc it was free.. i looked @ the tut thou it didn't look to incredibly tough thou.

the easiest way to turn the light off is to unplug the yellow plug going into the back of your gauge cluster; it's even easier than pulling the bulb. you won't be able to reset the light without putting in a resistor.

considering the toipc is "SRS light with after market wheel " its an aftermarket wheel and you should do what I posted above. connect a 2amp fuse to the srs connector. then reset the srs light. its not that hard.

No, the light will just come back on because it senses you have no airbags. Unplug it from the back of guages is the simplest way.
