Default My friend dyno'd his hatch yesterday. Not too shabby for a stock block GSR.

My friend and I went to the Torque Freaks Dyno Day yesterday in Portland. He finally got to dyno his hatch. It put down 333whp and ~238wtq on pump on a street tune. The scaling on the graphs were kind of weird yesterday. They usually start them at 25. The car ran a 12.3@120 a couple weekends ago on 14" BFG's. The car is daily driven.
Setup is as follows:
-Gsr block(all stock internals)
-Arp headstuds
-Oem 3 layer headgasket
-B16 Head
-Crower valve springs/retainers
-Ctr Intake cam
-Gsr Exhaust cam
-Str camgears(set at 0)
-Blox Intake manifold
-RC Throttle body(not sure on the bore)
-Exedy Stage 2 Clutch
-Nsrtech Log Manifold
-Garrett t3-t04e 57trim 63 a/r
-Nsrtech stainless 3" dp
-Nsrtech charge pipes
-JRC Frontmount 24x8x3-New
-Blitz BOV
-38mm Wastegate
-Chipped p28 running Uberdata
-Manual boost controler set at ~9.5 psi
-450cc Injectors
-Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
The log shows low on the boost, it is around 9.5-10psi. Boost cut is set at 10.2. Down low was also richened up after this log.

Here is the dyno graph. I wasn't able to charge my camera before we went up there so I didn't get any footage

Timeslip and other pics

I was surprised it put down the power it did for only 10 pounds of boost. I think the intake manifold/throttle body, and head setup contributed quite a bit to the setup. to the torque freaks crew for strapping down all the cars they did. It was a well organized event and at only $35 for 3 pulls saved on the wallet

Looks very nice, I have a pretty similar setup but my track numbers are very different, i think mainly cuz of my messed up trans and poor driving.

wat are you talking about? these are great numbers!

i'm thinking of using the itr intake/gsr exhaust cam combination, did you have a dyno run with just the gsr's? - for comparison

Negative HP and Torque! Whats up with that?...lol.

Sick car and numbers to say the least. I bet that CTR intake cam helps a lot.

A little lean for my taste, but great numbers and powerband too.

Nice numbers, did the tuner attempt to play with the cam gear settings at all?

Damn those r some good numbers for a stock block...throw some rods and pistons in there and run more boost and it will be sick

300+ stock, very nice. Whats even nicer IMO is 333whp with a 255lph & 450's - is that the HP or normal 255? My other question - what's up with the torque between 55-65mph (btw I *hate* mph graphs)? I'm assuming since there wasn't any boost spike, your motor was at full boost before vtec activated?

Tell your buddy good job

We didn't have time to make any cam gear changes since it was a dyno day I tuned the car on the street.

HiProfile it's the HP I believe. That dip in the curve matches the huge "hole" in the gsr timing map. We didn't try to advance the timing at all in that area since we didn't have time to on the dyno. Full boost was at ~4700 and vtec is at 4700. Thanks
