i just bought a h22 and im riping it apart and replacing everything just about. Only one problem one of the head bolts is rounded off. Is there some kind of tool that can take this sucker off.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

lol! Hah!

Same problem I have had almost.. Except I broke like 6 bolts or so trying to put them back on..

You'll have to drill them out, easy outs will be a great help. At least this is what I have done.. I've got one more to get out, but haven't yet, waiting on Camshafts to put everything back together..

***Tip - When going to put the head back together... BUY NEW HEAD BOLTS, trust me, it's well worth the money.. Because if you have the problems I've had, you'd curse yourself for not doing it..

Also I can give you the part numbers and everything for the 28 head bolts..

Hope this helps! And good luck!

lol.. I think you mean you're 'bored' not you're *a* board... Heh

But otherwise I know what you mean, I have nothing to do to mine until I get mine broken bolt out and get my Camshafts..

But I'd get new bolts when you put it back together..
^^ Saying this again, as it is a very GOOD idea..

good luck with it, and definitely get some arp studs for the reassembly....

Ya, I'd say your best bet is to drill it. Maybe drill a small pilot hole, then use a drill that is slightly bigger than the shaft of the bolt. Carefully drill deep enough that the head is cut off from the shank, and the head should be able to come off. With the head off there will be plenty of exposed shank to remove the bolt from the block. Check the head for warpage, because this is not the normal method for removing a head (obviously). Good luck and let us know how it goes.
