Default Frustrated with Short Shifter Install.

Well, I have loosen all the nuts and bolts that holds the rod which holds the shifter. I am unable to take the WHOLE thing out. I unhooked some of the exhaust hangers, except one( on the muffler ). Still unable to. I guess my last resort is to loosen the nuts that hold the header and the exhaust together, so i can take it out. But is there another way? Thanx.

it shouldnt be that hard. there are seriously like 2 nuts and 1 bolt you have to take out under the car. thats pretty much it.

yes, i realize its for an integra, but its basically the same concept.

Thanx ya'll. I kinda skimmed over those. I have the nuts loose, I just CAN'T get the rod shifting rod out. I am probably gonna be loosening the exhuast and header so I can take it out. It's just too hot right now.

I remember mine being a bitch as well. Did you take off the center console and unscrew those two bolts by the shifter? You have to pull some carpet away but they're there. Just my .02
