Will Buddy Club Spec II exhuast fit a 96-00 coupe?
I know its not a direct bolt on, but i need a clear answer on this.
what is the difference between exhaust for a 96-00 hatch, and 96-00 coupe?
i searched, and about 50% say that the axle back portion is too long.
the other 50% say that the b-pipe is too long.
who is right?
thanks

I think it is just the rear section (axle back) that is different..I dont have any experience on this so u probably shouldnt trust me.

I thought coupe and HB exhausts were interchangable? At least for the 5th gens they are right? That information right there would have led me to believe that all coupe/hatch exhausts were interchangable.

PM ceasar of mgineering he modded a ek9 spec II to fit his coupe. I think he told me he had to get a muffler shop to add some pipe towards the middle(in the b-pipe section)
i was looking at the buddy club spec iv for my 95 coupe and i was having the same question so i decided to call buddy club and this crazy asian dude in their exhaust department told me to buy the exhaust for the sedan b/c the hangers are 95% the same and then i would need to either buy a shorter cat or get a test pipe. apparently the exhaust routing for the sedan and coupe are the same and the sedan is just slightly longer.
idk about you but i always trust crazy asian dudes when it comes to cars and computer games.

i used the integra type r(dc2) exhaust. if u use the ek one, the axle back part will run short. thats was happened to me. I though the ek9 one would fit but it was too short. when u modify your exhaust u can rig it like i did or spend the money to get new hangers weldedor something like that

NO MATTER WHAT PART IS DIFFERENT THEY ARE NOT 100% INTERCHANGABLE!!!!!!
Sorry for all caps but there are alot of dense people here.
I wish I didn't throw my friends Hatch axleback away, because there is an almost 1 foot difference in length between the 2 axlebacks
