Brake problem on my 92 civic hatch
k well the problem is pretty easy to describe the car basically is braking all the time not brakin as much as the car won't move when u accelerate but the car is being braked enough that you won't be able 2 push it and when u in neutral the car brakes pretty quick what can i do 2 fix this and im smellin my brake pads gettin burned up the ***
I think your saying, your brakes are always on???? If thats the case you may have a stuck caliper. Or your pads may be the wrong ones for your vehicle. Sorry can't understand your problem.
take apart the front brakes. Its quick and easy to do. try and press the piston back into the caliper. It may just be a one time thing. If it happens again, or won't come out once you press it back in again then you may need to rebuild the whole caliper.

yes you could rotate them when the car is cold and you haven't even mess around with the brakes but once you drive it for a lil while if you put the car up in a jackstand no you won't be able to move none of the tires
it's your master cylinder .. you either have the wrong booster or wrong master cylinder .. either that or something is making the brake fluid overheat and causing your whole brake system to shut down .. tell me how your master cylinder looks like .. where the brake lines go in .. and tell me what's the model number on the brake booster? it looks like a simple case of gsr brake booster (290nm) and rs (non-abs) master cylinder .. the rs master cylinder uses a 260nm .. i tried these mismatched brake boosters and master cylinders on my car .. and since the gsr brake booster has a longer push rod .. it makes the car constantly brake at a slight rate .. and then your brake fluid overheats and locks up the whole system ..
If all 4 of your brakes are sticking, then you probably need to adjust the rod that goes from the top of the brake pedal through the firewall to the booster & master cylinder.
