brake problem help please!

Default brake problem help please!

06 ex sedan honda civic. when i use my brakes, when the car is about to stop, it always jerks when im trying to make a smooth stop. i didnt know how to put it out into words but can someone help me and is anyone else having this problem? is there a way i can fix it myself?

Sounds like your rotors are wrapped. When is the last time you had your brakes serviced?

Inspect or have your brakes inspected. It's possible you have some kind of fluid on your pads, and that can cause brake grab. I doubt that you need them replaced, unless you've put a ton of miles on your car... Rotor warpage is quite possible, like was suggested.
