Quickie help... the Torque Spec for bolts that holds the header to the engine block..

Until they are tight. That's what I do.

Book says 20 ft/lbs.

My book states 23 lbf-ft,31N-m. No big difference, should be fine either way.

does the helm state this anywhere? also, why does the pic of the B18C5 show bolt studs for every hole on the header? we got it on, everything went well, thanks for quick help

err....i dont have a torque wrench, i got air tools and reg socket wrenches...

what kind of air tools do you have?? how many different kinds do you need to work on a car??? you use air tools but you dont know what a torue wrench is?

i have no access to a torque wrench and no experience with one, so you think it would be enough to just use a wrench? will that do the job?

the air tool i use just tightens and loosen bolts quicker so i dont know how tight it will make the bolts...geez...

glad my inexperience is making your day guys... ..thanks for the help

You'd be better off using hand tools rather than the air to tighten it if you don't have access to a torque wrench. You can get an ultra cheap torque wrench for what, like $20 or so.

Manually should be fine but I would tq it down just to be safe. I also have a cheap TQ wrench that I used once. It's ghetto as hell but I'll let you borrow or buy if you want. $10
