Default Torque settings on the header?

hello im installing a header on the friends 04 honda civic would love to know the Torque settings on the header? any help would be much appreciated.


p.s i already searced it and couldnt find anything=(

its something light, 28 lb-ft comes to mind, but I'll check when I get home. Most of those bolts you won't be able to get a torque wrench on anyways, so tighten them up, but not too tight because you'll snap em, then drive around and check them, retighten if necessary.

I just checked, its 23 according to the Honda book, but my previous statement about the torque wrench not fitting still applies.

tighten em tight without measuring. than in about a week , tighten em again.

Also, to add to this, exhaust leaks are easy to spot, because they'll sound like deep puffs of air leaking through. I had an exhaust manifold leak on my Landcruiser, and all it took was some re-tightening on the surrounding bolts to close the gap.

Sometimes carbon takes a while to buildup, though. Especially on a fresh gasket replacement. And, carbon build ups are difficult to spot on warn gaskets already covered in carbon.
