QUESTION ABOUT MOTOR
i'm planning to buy a motor. i saw a d16a but it says 96 and up. would it fit onto a 92-95 eg? or would it fit but the obd wont be the same. thanks.
If it's a 96+ motor, you would need an OBD1-OBD2 conversion harness... along with the ecu of course. I've never done a conversion like that, but as many ads as I see on this site for conversion harnesses, I'm sure it couldn't be too hard. It's sounds like its PnP. Anyone care to elaborate?
why not just switch over all the sensors and stuff from the obd1 motor to the obd2 motor to make it work??? obd2 computers suck.. why make a car obd2????
thats what i would do... swap injectors idle air controll valve.... map tps.. dizzy... water temp... everything just swap it over
