anyone with the alpines...how do u like them? (type r preferably or S is okay too)
what about phoenix gold subs? how are those? how much do u pay for n e of them? what are the power ratings on them? thanx

a friend of mine has the Alpine Type R subs.. he seems to like them a lot... i had the Phoenix gold XS2500 a long time ago.. it was a good amp.. hit pretty hard w/ my 12" Kicker solobaric sub...

Type R's are nice, I like them. I think they were $125 a piece for 12" dvc's. I can't remember exactly, but I think they are 1000watts peak and 600 or 300 rms. My two 12's are powered by a 1200watt mono amp. It's loud

The Alpine's kick ***. They are 1000 peak and 300 RMS. Guarantee you they will handle way more RMS than that.

I'm quite pleased.
