Ok I need to know how to remove the stock cd-player. I got the cigarette lighter and tray out, but now I'm stuck. Do I have to remove the center console? I'm not sure where to go from here. I dont want to end up with my car totally disassembled after this either. Any suggestions would help.

 

Remove the center console.. there's only a few screws. You'l lhave to move the front seats to get to the screws on the side, then there's a screw under the parking brake kinda (you lift up a plastic thing).. Take the center console out, slide the seats all the way back, with the ashtray out and stuff you'll be able to figure the rest out.

I know there's HOWTO's out there.

just remove the ash tray and bracket..and get urself a nice 90 degree angle driver with a socket attachment and use an 8 mm socket to get at the bolt heads at the rear of the radio...very easy to see from passenger side. put the angle drive in the ash tray assembly opening and then u can see what u are doing by looking from behind on the passenger side. easy to do and no need to remove ur console and that timely mess.
