Default axle swap? when swapping del sol tran for civic tran

Found out from salvage yard cross that if putting a civic 93-95 Ex tran in a 94 Del sol Si that the passenger side axle has to be changed, anybody have opinion on this? If so what axle? I would think the Civic 93-95 Ex axle but hard telling, the civic axle is 1 3/16 longer compressed

That isen't true, as long as the transmission is the same why would you have to change it?

Edit:

Use whatever axles are made for your car is what Im saying

I agree with what he said ^. Your del sol IS a civic. So as long as transmission bolts up to your motor, you shouldn't have to change the axle.

In doing somemore research I have found that the axle that fits the '93,94,95 Del sol Si fits only and only those cars, so it only makes since that the tranny from the Civic Ex same years which is the cross for my 94 Del Sol Si would require different axles. Now the question is what axle since the Civic axle is 1 3/16" longer compressed than the Del sol Si axle. The reason the Del sol axle won't fit is because the inboard shaft is a larger diameter than the Civic trans. will receive. Jesse

lets see your car.......

CIVIC Del Sol, they use the same axles.

Jesse, seeing your in Dayton, I'm in Cincy, you've posted on darksol.com, I can come up to help next Monday.

Autozone #7068 for the passeneger side, #7083 for the drivers side. I just did axles on my 93 Civic DX HB and axles on a 94 Del Sol Si, they use the same axles.
