Default Edelbrock TB (need help ASAP)

does anyone have the edelbrock TB on their B18c mine is giving me the hardest damn time. It is always sticking sometimes open and sometimes closed. now tonight while i was driving home i get a check engine light code 7 or 77 im soooo pissed i cant concentrate.

thoughts and ideas are much appreciated.

as for the sticking...i have a skunk2 tb and i had a kinked throttle cable so it made my throttle stuck closed so i bought a new type r throttle cable and bracket. find out if its 7 or 77...

its so much easier if u have vafc, ive been getting for a while but i just rotated them and it went away,,,if u have the vafc, u can simply check the voltage through vafc. .5 for idle and 4.5 for WOT

It shouldn't be sticking. What's the idle set screw set at??? It better not be backed all the way out and the throttle blade is closing on the bore....that's bad and would cause a sticking closed problem.

i have a edelbrock tb on my gsr. i had the same problem with the throttle cable sticking at first. mine stopped after the first day

what throttle cable are you using?

its the actual product. I have a vafc and thats how i know that the tb is sticking open and closed now. now on the vafc it doesnt even should throttle % with the code 7. I have a gsr cable connected to it. finallt the idle screw is not all the way screwed back but i would say mid way.

At idle, does the idle set screw sit on the throttle blade?

i checked the volt and its at .005 at idle and sometimes change to .010
