Default blown p28, how to tell what part fried

So i opened the ecu, theres no visual damage, so some kinf of resistor or capacitor on this thing had to have gottn friend, cause whenever i plug it in the car and turn on ignition, the ecu fuse pops. if i put my other ecu in it works fine.

now how would i go about checking whats fried on this thing?

check the lower cover of you ecu and make sure there are no dents.if the covers bent in,it could be grounding the circuit board

theres not, nothing there, eve when i look at the ecu with a magnifying glass, nothing looks wrong with it. it has to be something inside of a cap or a resistor that fried.

what part of the ecu takes in the power, the part that converts 12 to 5 volts, that might b it.
