p28 ECU

Default p28 ECU

i was at the junkyard today and found a ex and removed from the fusebox what is said was the ecu/ it is yellow has the number 20 on it. is that the ecu? if i put it in my dx would power increase>? i am still looking for a vtec head to use it with conjunction with the ecu if it is what the fusebox said

are you kidding?? The ECU is under the glove department behind the carpet against the footrest area. It is the size of a book almost. You just pulled out a fuse maybe???

that must be it a fuse then. it said ecu on the box it was in, its under the glove compartment? i will go back and see if i can get the real one tommorow

sounds more like a fuse
as far as power increases. there will be none, you may have higher rev limit though with P28 ecu. it will set off CEL (for oil pressure and vtec solenoid)

location fo ECU (on 94 tegs and 92-00 civics)

Perhaps a 20AMP Fuse? You can't honestly think that was the ECU did you? I hope this is a joke.

i feel ******* stupid i looked in the fuse box ( DUH!) and it said ecu and i was like oh **** i got this and lifted it. oh well im gonna go back tommorow and see if i can get the real one. im ******* stupid

I feel stupider for having read this post...you couldn't have actually thought that a 20amp fuse, that was small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, was the ECU did you?
