Hey, I bought a 98 civic DX sedan that was broken, it needed a new tranny.. after 3 weeks of working on it slowly, I put in a new clutch and a new used tranny (new to the car)… put it all back together yesterday… and now when I lift off the clutch in 2nd…. Like down shifting in low RPMs.. it makes a really funny noise.. like grinding or something.. its only when u left of the clutch in let it ride in an RPM that’s higher then its post to be in.. like when u do it to slow it down by itself and not using your breaks to slow down.. any idea what is making it do this? Or what to look for? I did not replace my flywheel.. I just cleaned it good… so it’s the used flywheel on a new exedy clutch kit.. Thanks for any and all input!
