Definitely a good pick-up if you want power w/torque from a Honda. Just pick up one of the used kits that come with a BOV and FMIC. Also get some kind of fuel management with it too.

huh? youll be fine forever as long as you keep it at stock boost and settings....

but if you turn it up and dont tune it right you will have internal problems..lol

ok fair enough....well decision to be honest with is.......the greddy bolt on turbo kit or buddy club spec 4 cams....

the cams include.....cams, cam gears, retainers,valve springs,vtec controllers,rc injectors 440 cc,timing belt......price $1850(average)

VS

greddy bolt on turbo kit at $2149.99.....which one would be better? for performance purposes and in the long run...

the turbo kit will give you a 100 more times power.

LOL you cant compare a turbo kit to a set of cams...

is this going on a b or d series?

Honestly for the money if all you're looking for is more power then go FI. Cams, cam gears etc will probably only net you (at best) 20-30 whp on a b series, on a d series my guess would be around 10-15whp...which engine are you running again?

The greddy kit is great, on a d-series it goes from stock power (100ish whp) to around 180 whp on 6psi on the blue box, turn it up to 8psi and get it tuned with something like uberdata or crome etc and you can expect 200-215whp.

8psi is very safe as long as its tuned properly and maintained.

it is the B series.....B16b to be exact....well i'm not to keen about the turbo although a lot of ppl recommends it...i'm not really feeling the vibe about it cuz i dont want to put out extra money because of the internals not being able to handle it
Also, because this is a non turbo engine and then just bolting on a turbo without doing any sort of work with the engine kinda has me thinking about if the internals could hold out.
With the cams i know everything would still in tack as in everything would be perfect without future problems. How certain are u that this wont lead to future problems? Do u know anyone who has used it before?

NA can have its problems too...I have heard of valvetrains breaking due to upgraded cams etc.

I have heard of a lot of people running low to mild boost (5-8 psi) with stock internals and have had no problems. Like others and myself have said, get it tuned and get it tuned right. With NA you will need to get that tuned too...

<===has the greddy kit on 8psi with stock internals tuned with crome, just awaiting install.

You see that car? It has stock internals and it is pushing way more than 215 whp and it will make pass after pass. I think your b16 will be just fine.

Tuning goes a very long way.
