Default best transmission for power

I am just doing some research...ive searched and I have come up short...I was wondering what the best transmission is for a b18/ls high boost application...it has to have an LSD of course. Can someone point me to a honda transmission faq? Thanks

Depends on what you are doing. If you tend to do a lot of racing on long staright highways up to the 140+ mph range the GSR tranny is probably better for you but if you are running on tracks with tall slicks you will need the shorter gears.

i am running an ls with a 4.9 final drive and quaife. i love the gearing on it. its a little longer than a b16 but a little steeper than a gsr. works great for me!!
