Default Which throttle cable to use (I've already ran the search)

I have a minor problem and just need one question answered. I have a 94 Civic hatch (one with the sunroof), and I have a b18c swap WITH a skunk2 Intake manifold. The throttle cable I have is about to snap. Which cable do I need to purchase as the replacement??? The one I have fits perfectly but I'm not sure if it has been changed since the swap.. Thanks

I have a B18C1 in my 2000 hatch, and ended up using the GSR throttle cable. However, I had to put two plastic nylon spacers behind the firewall because the cable was a little too long.

I don't think I could get the civic throttle cable to fit, but I don't remember now. It would be great if someone could confirm what's the right cable to use.

Is it different from the stock GSR cable in length? Will I still need spacers to make it work properly?

are you running stock intake manifold or a skunk2? the itr is shorter than the gsr.

Bone stock GSR intake manifold. I am using a GSR throttle cable, but I have to use nylon spacers behind the firewall, and I am afraid it has something to do with my high idle. Even if it does not have anything to do with the idle, I would still like to get it done correctly. Thanks for your response, I will call the dealer and compare the part numbers today.

what he said, go with the type r throttle cable and type r throttle bracket. it may be little loose at first but you can work that out easily.

Bump
I just dicked with my type r throttle cable and bracket for about 1 hour. Car is 93 del sol with b18c1 and skunk2 intake manifold. Finally decided to get rid of my ghetto rigged GSR cable, but I wish I hadn't The type r cable is too loose and I can't get my motor to idle right now and popped a check engine light.

Does anybody know if you have to switch the bracket on the actual throttle body itself too? my friends b16 has the hole where the end of the cable hooks to the throttle body bracket on top...and my gsr tb has it on the bottom? This **** is wigging me out!!! Any help??? Thanks...
