so i fix my clutch and tranny and stuff, and now my engine light comes on.. i read the code, code 7..TPS. i didn't really know what a TPS was didn't realize it was really electrical and could **** something up so i got on it once, and my car started hesitating and my EMS was going all crazy sounding like i was 2stepping everywhere. and then i pop my hood, and realize my intake is disconnected from my TB, and realize that the connector for the TPS is broke off.. it wasn't like this before i drove it.. so i'm going to replace the TPS but what could cause my intake to blow off like that and the TPS thing to break??

oh and also when i got on it, around 6k rpm it started breaking up feeling like it didn't want to go any higher.

the motor is a built ls vtec btw.

Go run outside and give me the colors/stripes of the three wires going into yer TPS plug

 

yellow/green/red and my tb seems ******* dirty as ****.

 

i just put a new tps on.. my timing belt looks a little loose, and now my car sounds funny as ****. wtf

like i said in the IM yer wires are hooked up correctly to the TPS, u didnt confuse anything

how did you get the TPS on, and what does yer motor sound like? What other things could have contributed to this happening, did you rewire anythign or change anything since yer car ran ok? Sorry to be vague... im drunk Id come help ya but Im at school right now

**** makes a splashing noise when it hits the water.....so your car is making splashing noises? are they deep splashing noises or shallow splashing noises?
