i just bought a 2000 civic coupe. i dont know if i just didnt notice when i bought it or if it was something i did. the top right area of the trunk doesnt seem to be aligned w/ the body of the back end. ive seen it on other cars worse. the trunk lid is a little bit highers and looks terrible? is this a sign of body damage or a bent joint? tell me how to fix it.

 

Just muscle it into place. Thats what I did when I put a 99-00 Trunk on mine that was dented in (how it was when I got the car). It was all out of whack... so I just muscled it and moved it into place and it looks perfect now.

 

yea, just check it out, look at it. something must be pretty obvious when you look at the arms that hold the trunk.
