running a bigger cam will cause your valves to open wider...and if you dont have strong enough springs for your valves then you will have valve float....or i think thats what they call it....but if you are concidering a larger cam...i would get your self some valve springs and retainers...and if your going to do that you might as well rebuild the head...pnp and all that good stuff
