96civic sedan trunk wont shut all the way
My trunk closes and water does not leak..But, it kinda of sticks up alittle on the left side. It has more of a raised look and does not completely close.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Make sure there is nothing between the trunk arms and the trunk. Also, check to see if that one trunk arm is bent, causing it be raised in one area.

if it's just the one side that is up, there's little black "*****" that let you adjust the "tightness" of your trunk lid to your car. check to see that they are screwed in at the same depth (I usually count the little "strips" from the main rubber part to the trunk lid itself

I've seen body shops actually alter the hole (make it bigger) to increase the amount of play where the truck mounts onto the big hinges (trunk arms) to help aling it before bolting it down. It worked when they aligned my brothers car after he was rear ended. The trunk lines up perfectly.
You didnt get a flipflop trunk as well, did you? jp
