Call the supplier's sales dept that you've selected and ask
1) Are they street legal (DOT Approved)
2) Do they improve headlamp performance or are they for show?

The answers may be surprising.

Halos' first showed up on BMW's, they were wired to operate with the parking lamps.

I'd suggest you look at the TYC units.

Yea, most 'projector' headlight setups are actually detrimental to lighting. Ask anyone here that has had projector headlights, and they'll tell you that they lost light output. Either keep the lights stock or do an HID projector retrofit into the housing...

There isn't supposed to be any glear. However, there may be some glare depending on the installation and/or the projector. Also, if the light is aimed too high.

Here is a picture of my setup, and as you can see there is no light above the cutoff.

You should care. You may blind oncoming traffic. From the picture, it's obvious that the driver side headlight is aimed a bit too high.

Bionic is absolutely right. And the person taht said 'who cares make up for lost light with an HID kit' has NO idea what they're talking about.

look at that. If you want, you can join HIDplanet.com forums and look around there. A complete kit is for sale on HIDplanet.com for 370+shipping, which includes projectors, ballasts, bulbs etc.

I bought one pair of these headlights for my accord 97.
I liked them, it gives... a "aggressive" look... kind of ... mean!!!...
It said on the box that they were DOT approved.... and the halos... well... you can only see them if you don't have your regular beam turned on... because... the "halo" isn't that strong...

it is aimming right what you are seeing is the color, the camra is aimming right at the projector. above my cut of there is not light lecking up wards. i've driving behind my friends and they have lowered cars and they don't get blinded by me.

the middle one is an S2k retor into a tC and the left one is an RSX type S with A4 projectors. they are not aimming high, the RSX is aimmed very low and the tC is aimming higher then mine.

Not aimed properly. Un-even ground. Bulbs. Projectors.
