Default Engine Swaps?

Hi,

This is probably a really stupid question but can you still swap a B18, H22, and what not into a 2001+ Civic like the older Civics?

Thank you.

If you have lots of time/money I'm sure you could, but just get a K20 and call it a night

uhh..new technology > old.

why get older engines that the k series replaced?

same mounts and everything instead of cutting away and welding at **** for engines that produce less hp. only thing that i would see as being worth it is the h22 because of 20 pounds torque that it produces over the k20's. even then, that 20 torque still wouldnt be worth it imo.

Okay, thanks guys. I just wasn't sure of what motors could be swapped into the newer Civics. So, the K20 is the motor to go for? How much will it run me? Also, what kind of figures does it make? Finally, with a K20 installed, what kind of 1/4 mile time could I expect?

Thank you.
