Default quick h22 question

Do h22 powered hondas get understeer because of its ~100lbs added weight or because of torque spin?

All Hondas get understeer because they're front-engine, front-wheel-drive. And you're talking about torque steer, which is also due to being FF.

This is not related to an H22 in any way.

I know all about this eran,i know alot about cars as you may not thnk,i just have no hands on experience at all,as a matter of fact ive never even driven more than 20 feet in my life.H22s have more understeer than your regular B16/18 civic/integra.But thanks for answering my question,i thought that it was because of the weight rather than torque steer. This is related to h22s because they have higher stock torque levels than Bs(except B20s that is but then again theyre not consired part of the B series) and D's.

An H22 weighs all of 50lbs more than a B16. And yes, more torque = more torque steer. That's a pretty simple concept.

And why isn't a B20 considered part of the B-series? (not counting B20A and B21A)

i should of had specified,the B20A and B21A arent part of B but a B20Z or a B20B is a B-series.

Find me someone who has a B20A/B21A swap, and then they'll count.

I don't even know why you mentioned them. A D-series has more torque than them.

That's the point I was making.

Thank you for helping to stop the spread of misinformation. H's are not that much heavier by anymeans. 50 lbs is a decent amount but nothing a good suspension can't cure and tq steer is handled easily enough by a good LSD.
