x2, do you have a problem with 160 ft lbs of torque?
If anything, if you have a regular h22 swap then swap the tranny for a b-series.

Exactly. so ur pretty much a lucky guy to have a h series in his civic, but not smart to switch out to a b motor.

Re: H22 To B18C swap (M1SCO15)
bump
I have a b18C1 just sitting in the shop besides... I've done my research and the H22 is very hard to turbo... well not hard but it will give out after awhile its not able to take the power of a turbo besides...
Regardless will it be harder to swap out this engine into this car?

not any harder to turbo than any other stock honda motor. keep the h22
GSR is not better

okay it will be a pain because the H uses a different linkage setup, cables
you will have to do twice the work of a regular b18 swap

First you will have to figure out how the H setup was installed. Was the passengers side frame-rail mount on the chassis removed? Was the stock shifter mount area under the center console cut wide open? Those are the main problems. Once you have those items re-welded back to stock, it's simply a matter of getting a complete swap and dropping it in.
