Does the idle surge or anything? What RPM is the idle at? Does it start fine and shut stright off, or does it stumble and shut off?

Mines kind of doing the same thing, I start mine the rpms go to about 1.5-2 then just shuts off. Usually does it a couple of times but mostly at night when it's cold. Where is the iacv?
Cool thanks I will check mine tomorrow. Also mine sometimes I will start it and it will idle then right when I put it into reverse the car shuts off, any ideas?

I've also noticed when it's nighttime and i'm also using my headlights then I can't get the car to stay on for the life of me, did it to me last night. And when I drive it during the day everytime i go to turn it back on it dies the first time then i wait a couple of seconds then it's all good. But once the car is running it works fine.
btw how do I clean out my iacv? What do I need to take apart?

just spray it down with some carb cleaner/brake cleaner and let it sit for a little bit...usually it is the screen that gets all gunked up, so its pretty easy to clean out...
