compression test on a built b18c1...tell me what you guys think....
did a compression test on my built b18c1 and came up w/ 175 accross the board, but it wasn't at open throttle...so tell me what you guy think...good or bad...my set-up is:
b18c1
jg iron sleeve,81.5mm bore
9.7:1 ross pistons,eagle rods
new bearings,gasket top to bottom
p&p head w/ angle valve job(stock internals)
jg eldelbrock intake manifold( victor x)
let me know what you guys think...did it at the last min...it stated to get dark...just concern bout the compression being to low for a built b18c1....

wasn't sure...i was told that it was suppoes to be up in the 200 range???.....since it was a built motor...

Ive got 225 across the board on my 9.5:1 LSVtec motor. Your numbers seem good though. My numbers where on a dry fire before initial startup. They are at 240 now.
