what size is the tube that fits the K&N cone filter?
Im connecting a 2 inch tube to my throttle body so I can still have EGR and putting a cone filter on it because I have a Ram Air Hood.
You have an HX????
I believe K&N only makes 2.5" and 3" cone filters.
EDIT: BTW, nice signature.......*chuckle*

Actually this is my brothers account. and sig,
I have a 90 SI with a ZC motor in it. Im hoping to get a tube that is about 3 inches long put it IN the existing rubber intake tube with a hole drilled for the EGR. Cut off the rubber where the tube ends, And put a K&N filter on the end and use a hose clamp. Think that will work? I have an extra intake tube so I dont care about scrapping one...

OH I C.
You ment lenght and not diameter. Yeah, your plan should work.....take your measurements and time before you start cutting!!! I think you will actually need about 5 inches though......3 in the plastic intake and 2 in the K&N.
