Turning over slowly = dead battery?
I tried to start my recently built motor this afternoon and finally got it to turn over, however it was very slow and wouldn't start. I have a mini battery in the car that was not used for a year, so I had it hooked up to the battery of a running car with jumper cables. Do I need to replace or recharge the battery?
Jump start the car, drive it around for a while to get the electrolyte in there moving around, go home park it, jump start it in the morning, do the same routine. It'll start holding a charge after about 4 jump starts, if not, then the battery is bad. OR you can just charge the battery for a full day, then throw it in and it should be fine.
