Personally, my favorite DIY instructions is inside my Helms manual. You should try picking one up. Contains the answer for almost every question you'll ever ask, even if you have to hunt around the book for 30+ minutes finding it.
Anyhoo, what car? What year? What trim level?
Mine were quite simple to replace, hardest part was undoing the upper bolt on the caliper and figuring out how to hang the caliper out of the way. The most annoying part was attacking the factory screws that held the OEM rotors on. You'll need impact tools to remove them. You'll also need a puller & a solid hunk of metal to brace between wheel studs for the puller to "pull from" to get the rotors off. Not to mention a hammer.
Getting the new rotors on is quite easy by way of contrast. I installed a single screw from the factory set so I only had to fight one the next time. Don't have to go in very tight, they're just there to stop the rotors from falling off before you put the wheels on (after enough heat & contract cycles the hub & rotor will virtually fuse together, hence the need for a puller). Screwdriver tight will do.
