what to do LS vtec or b20 vtec
what is the better way to go LS vtec or B20 vtec what one can make more power all motor and what one is more reliable i know frankinstin motors are not that reliable to begin with
well wat are your plans to do with it? boost or all motor? boosting a b20 u need to get the black sleeved LS the walls will be ok but i would get them sleeved anyways

Exactly the B20 sleeves are too thin to boot anything big. LS would be the better choice if you don't plan to re-sleeve them and keep it at a reasonable boost level. Also if this engine is for track purposes only then you don't have to worry about smog either because IF you drive it on the streets and the cops tell you to pop that hood open and see that combo in your engine bay. You're in trouble financially.

Why is everyone talking about turbo? Didn't he say "all-motor" in his original post?
Personally I'd go B20 VTEC. Not to undermine the LS VTEC, however- I know people who have very powerful, reliable LS VTEC setups as well.

i like the b20 block, reliable part people say that frankies are not reliable but any motor you race is going to be unreliable. I had my setup for over 3 years, raced it often and never had a problem. I had big pistons as well. keep it an all motor and youll love the torque and should be plenty to beat up on other dailys.
