I have a rear main seal leak that drips once every other second.. not a huge leak but bad enough. Just wondering if thats gonna affect building boost. I wouldnt imagine so being theres ventilation through the pcv system.

 

fix that **** before you glaze your clutch over.

 

Will not effect boost, but will oil soak your clutch disc making it useless.

 

yeah, im definately gonna get it fixed, but i just wanted to know if it would at least still build boost.

 

no, your seal leaking has nothing to do with building boost, unless you have some F-d up pistons.

wasnt the seal. It was the oil pan. Thank god!
