just installed front es motor mount inserts seems loud
well i jut got done, installing my new energy suspension motor mount inserts, i only had time for the front two. so i went for a test drive, and it was noticably stiffer, i didnt realize how much these front seemingly useless motormounts affected the cars ride. anyways when i was gettin on the high way it seems like these made my car a lot more noisey, i dont know if i was imagining it or not, has anybody noticed after they put these in, if it go louder?
it will make your car more noisy due to the increase in vibration going through to the cabin (less dampening provided by the harder bushings), but the improvement far outweighs that negative.
Give it a couple weeks, and you'll not notice it anymore

some people will just never get used to it...
suspension noise and mount noise ius different..i personally dont wanna hear any squeaking and vibrations so i have no ES bushings..all out race car...they r def. recommended though..but i would refrain from them for a daily driver..

haha, true I guess.
my mounts don't squeak, just increased vibration, but I love the better response and handling.
I have the jim fab mounts which are very stiff

I may have to get some inserts but i highly doubt i will be replacing the tranny mount. </TD></TR></TABLE>
the install took a little longer than i thought it would for just the front two, the tranny mount took 5 mins but the ac mount took about an hour or so, i finally just took the compressor and mounting bracket off, i would recomend that way, it ade things a whole lot simpler
as for the rear one, i have yet to put it in because i know how much of a pain it can be, i was actually tryin to find a good write up on how to install the back one, if any one could help me out i would really appreciate it
