Default ES Motor Mount Inserts install: PITA but worth it

Well I pretty much spent a long *** time installing my motor mount inserts that arrived today. Like everyone has said- the front two are a breeze and the back one is a giant pain in the ***!! I swear, "I cant believe this ****" and I spent forever just getting the rear mount out, then a long *** time making the inserts fit right, and then even more of a long *** time getting the mount back in. By the time we finished and put my disassembled car back together, I was almost too worn out to test it out
OK, now that my rambling is done, my impressions:

These feel great, the front driver mount squeaks a little (no idea why on that one), shifts feel WAY smoother, acceleration feels more constant, and it really feels more solid. Basically it makes it feel like without them the motor was kind of "sloppy". Maybe I just had really worn out mounts, but it feels much more solid now. Ok, now on to the ? most people wonder about- vibrations in cabin. I'm sorry but that vibration is NOT near what I expected from peoples descriptions. I have no interior really but seats, door panels and dash so I thought it would more noticable but it is hardly there. So in my case- vibrations are NOT a problem.
Overall it was a great $40 spent, but I guess I'll really find out when I hit the track

Brent. I did my inserts when I swapped the motor - the 2 old front mounts were torn to ****, so they were replaced and added the inserts. My vibration is non existent except at 750 rpm or so, and then its mainly just the steering wheel.

Gotta love it!

When i put my new motor in the other night, that rear mount had to go in last, ugh what a pita, i had to remove the heater hose as it went into the firewall and remove a bracket and stuff.

Suxored, but it's in now.

Yeah moving the heater hoses would have helped a lot, but do to positioning of them hose clamps I had no chance. We just tried to twist and pull the mount as much as possible to get it by them. Those hoses are a lot stronger than you think
Yeah Steve, after I started I was sayng to myself- wow maybe I should just stop and wait until I build a new motor

Man, I installed my inserts when I had my intake manifold OFF and it was still a pain!

on all the cars i have installed the rear motor mount on, it always seems to help out a lot if you remove the support bracket for the intake manifold first....

Personally I don't think it is bad at all, sometimes at stops there wasn't any vibration. I'll let you guys know in a couple of weeks if things change
