Mustang dyno graph looses reading after ~5k on my car... tire spin or clutch slip?

I went on a mustang dyno a couple days ago with just yokohama avs es100 street tires. The last two times on dynos ive had Azenis and BFG DR's. This time above ~5k rpm the dyno graph would just stop. If my clutch was slipping wouldnt the power curve just fall off slightly? Which would mean my tires are spinning, car is making somewhere 440whp @ 18psi... dyno stops reading about when i hit full boost. The car was strapped down VERY good and doing pulls in 4th gear.
On the street my car shows no signs of the clutch slipping. However, with these tires on teh street it breaks loose when i hit full boost in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and sometimes 4th gear.

lol really?
anyway, i didnt bother to get a printout of it. pretty much just stopped at 5k. Im going back this weekend with either azenis or bfg's on to see if it solves the prob.

how were they picking up RPMS? i know the mustang dyno around here uses a crank sensor with reflective magnetic tape. maybe the snesor wire that was picking up the rpm input, lost signal, so if it couldn't determine rpm, it just said zero.
assume its going to zero.
most of the time when i saw clutches slip on the dyno, it would slip, grab, slip, grab, so the dyno would be extremely jumpy, ie down 100, up 100, etc. with tires spinning, i could normally hear it or dyno operator could see tire smoke.

the graph not displaying info means it lost comunications.
most likely since mustangs rpm pick system sucks that is the cause.
try having them use the optical pick-up. that one is more reliable than the inductive clamp.

I smoked my tires on a mustang dyno at 400whp and the graph just looked all crazy and jaged. But it will still read somewhat. U can tell your smoking tires if the whole car itself vibrates like crazy.
It could be some sort of ignition problem if your using the inductive pickup

if you want another dyno opinion- romar is just outside newburgh, like about 20 min from the newburgh beacon bridge. its a dynojet and they have deals on monday nights 3 pulls w/af for 75. i went there a few months ago and everyone was cool to me
