Dyno Problem!!
i went to dyno yesterday to check the power i would gain from replacing my old hybrid t3/t4(which mad 454whp@16 psi) with t3/60-1, my first run (4th gear) when i hit the NOS(50shot dp) and got full boost(28psi) it rev to 8600 direcly it gave me 280whp and my speed was only 75mph they told me the clutch sliped, in the second and 3rd run i hit 315whp and 380whp & max speed 93mph and 97mph, in the last run i made 401whp & max speed 102.5mph. i was sure that i had wheel spin but the michanic was telling it was clutch slip. so what do guys think?
i was getting full boost @4500rpm and hit nos @5000rpm
my a/f was 12:0 all the way
i'm using non lsd gear and some old tires 195/55/15
my old dyno was 454whp and my speed was 121mph

Re: Dyno Problem!! (CiViC SiR)
if it comes to buy a new clutch kit which one do you guys reccomend? lets say 500+ (this is a drag use only car)
i'm using aluminum flywheel and i preload the car for lunching at drag (6500rpm) so i think if i put ceramic disc it will damge my flywheel right?
i'm using now Centerforce dual F. kit

The fact that your mph is alot lower tell me that somehting spining or slipping. very well could be the clutch, u have a copy of the graph, spinning clutches have a disctinct pattern on the chart usually

any way you can?
basically if you see your rpm climb and your speedo stay steady or go down... u have a slipping clutch

Re: Dyno Problem!! (SOHC_MShue)
I'm surprised a centerforce dual friction even held that much power, my DF (when I had it) didn't like to hold much power at all. +1 for slipping clutch.
