ECU Problem HELP!!
I posted this in the hybrid forum but haven't gotten any replies so I'll try here.
I have a 95 Civic Coupe with a 93 JDM H22 in there. Its running on a stock p13 ECU and is running pretty rough and rich so I decided to plug in a chipped p28 to see if changing the ECU would help. I plugged in the ECU and turned the key to the ON position, and as I am looking things over, I see smoke coming from the p28...I quickly unplug the p28 and open the case and there was a lot of smoke coming from there. I plugged the p28 back into my other car that it came out of and it worked fine.
THe p13 also works to when i plug it in, it doesn't smoke or anything. I was wondering what re-wiring is involved when swapping in a JDM h22 into a Civic. I'm wondering if any of the terminal plugs to the ECU had to be rewired...because its weird that the p28 was getting fried and the p13 had no effect.
I also have a question on what can make the car run really rich..I am not too familiar with the H-series motor yet so any input will be appreciated. Thanks

You probably have a plug mixed up or a wiring issue....
