if i ever needed Honda-Tech's help, i need it now the most, i need a step by step tranny swap guide
ok well i found a "new" tranny for 200$ around here, it will come in tomorrow the guy that was supposed to install it for me changed his mind, he wants now 180$ for the install. so ill do my friggen self. mildly tech-oriented, this would bne the greatest undertaking yet and i would really love if someone can walk me through the de-installation and re-installation for the tranny on my D15Z1 motor. the more thorough, the better. also a few other things:
i know it has been covered but are you guys 100% sure that all d-series trannies are interchangeable and bolt-ons? this tranny is coming from an EF DX model....i need to kno for SURE if itll bolt right up and i need to know within 45 mins or so so i can order it.
thank you,
SRH

Here is luserkid's auto to manual swap. Very detailed, I believe it's all you'll need. Just ignore the auto swapping stuff.

Bump it when done.

Sorry Bro I don't feel like doing a write-up today, but I'm sure if you search you'd find all the info you needed.
Here's a thread I participated in a couple days ago:

Hope that helps.

isn't that a cable trans. I don't think it will work if your car is '92+

This is a decent write-up, but I wouldn't reccomend pulling the whole motor/trnas assembly. That's way more than you need to do. But he was doing auto to manual conv. so it may have been easier for him to do it that way.
Also is your car 92+ or 88-91. If its 92 the you need a Hydrualic, if pre 92 you need a cable.
