Okay here's the problem. I'm putting a tranny in and I torqued it down to much and that's what happened
. I shouda known better, using a impact gun and now I'm fucked. would it be a good idea to have it welded back or should I just swap casings from my old tranny if thats even possible? I tried taking the tranny apart from my other trans and it'll only seperate apart about a 1/2", am I missing something from making it come apart?

Thanks,
Roy

What bolt goes in there. I can not for the life of me remember ever using that hole on the race car. As for taking apart your other trans there is a plug with a 3/8 opening in it, that you have to remove. that will allow you to get to the snap ring that holds the main shaft bearing into place. You also have to remove the 14mm bolt that holds the reverse gear shaft in place.

It's the tranny fluid bolt with banjo that connects to the cooler, I'm assuming it's a pressurized line.
